Sermon Series and Discussions

Beginning September 7th, we will address one of the "Seven Major Arguments Against Christianity" each week. During the Sunday service, Father Kemp will preach a sermon tied into the day's topic, and following the service will be an open forum and discussion, starting at 2pm.

The series is based on Tim Keller's book The Reason for God. It will provide an opportunity to talk, ask questions and debate about some of the major issues people have with the Christian religion.

There will be snacks and refreshments along with an easy going open environment. The purpose of this series is to encourage greater understanding of the Church’s reasoning and non-believers' opinions on these issues.

Oh Lord, our heavenly Father, whose blessed Son came not to be ministered unto, but to minister; We beseech thee to bless all who, following in his steps, give themselves to the service of their fellow men. Endue them with wisdom, patience, and courage to strengthen the weak and raise up those who fall; that, being inspired by thy love, they may worthily minister in thy Name to the suffering, the friendless, and the needy; for the sake of him who laid down his life for us, the same th Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen p.43-44, Book of Common Prayer
